Title: Entity 7-ID - "Armid"
Author: lemmelemme
Release: 2024

Entity Number: 6-ID

Habitat: Architectur

Description:

Armids are passive entities in the form of very long adult human arms that can be found in crevices/holes on any vertical surface, they are generally harmless if not disturbed. They can be found in crevices/holes that are the size of an adult arm or larger, as this size is used as a benchmark in guessing the likelihood of Armid appearing in the crevices/holes. This entity is often found as a single individual in a place, while group occurrences are quite rare. These entities are often misunderstood as Clump because they are identical to arms, but their appearance and behavior are quite different.

Behaviors:

As the description implies, they are passive entities that do not threaten anyone and will go into their crevices/holes if disturbed. They will only attack if someone holds them back from entering their hiding place by hitting anything in the vicinity with force. The attacks of Armid are known to be quite lethal and will inflict serious injuries to surviving survivors, therefore disturbing them is highly discouraged. These entities do nothing but leave their bodies outside the crevices/holes, occasionally they will make movements such as grazing nearby surfaces or just swinging their bodies gently. If they touch something that appeals to them, they will grasp it firmly and pull it into the crevices/holes along with themselves.

Biology:

The Armid gets its name from its form in the form of an off-white human arm (some have shades although rarely) with many joints, besides that they are very long and very thin, giving the impression of a jointed snake with the head of a person's hand. It is suspected that they are able to know their surroundings by sensing vibrations on the surface due to the absence of visible senses. It is unknown what they eat and what their overall body looks like since the maximum body size is unknown, these entities are quite mysterious despite their common appearance. Attempts to harm them always end in failure or chaos over their behavior when they feel threatened, but certainly their bodies are known to be highly resistant to sharp objects and fire.

Do's and Don'ts

Do's:

  • Ignore and avoid them.

Don'ts:

  • Disturbing or hurting them, such as: shooting, slashing, or throwing objects on them.
  • Deliberately staying close enough to them as they may grab you and force you into their crevice.
