Light line in the Megamendung sky.
Description
Megamendung is a residential area with an estimated unlimited area. This level is characterized by its darkness as if it were nighttime. This can be seen from the lights of houses and streets that are lit, however, on one side of the sky there is a yellowish orange line of light that extends horizontally as far as the eye can see. This line indicates that the level is actually in daytime but the thick clouds on the level cause the level to be dark as if it were nighttime. Because of its striking color, this line is then used as the main direction guide by survivors.
This level has a fairly cool temperature and is very windy, sometimes it will also drizzle occasionally and the sound of thunder can be heard in the distance, all of this gives the impression that there will be a severe storm soon even though the storm has not occurred until the time this entry was published. The overcast clouds on this level seem to be "locked" as the light lines and the appearance of the clouds do not change no matter how strong the wind is on the level, the light lines are also never seen dimmed or covered by clouds and it is suspected that this level does not have a day-night cycle.
The houses on this level have variations in design and size and are neatly arranged by the roadside, all houses are also unlocked so that anyone can enter. The interior of the house is not much different from the interior of most homes from Earth such as the presence of furniture and electrical devices that function normally, electricity and water can also be used normally. Foodstuffs can be found from the refrigerator in the kitchen, these foodstuffs are known not to expire but are in a very limited state in each house.
The roads in this level are made of asphalt that is wet as if it has rained, rows of wet shady trees are neatly arranged on the side of the road, and orange street lights will illuminate the area around the road. The road is known to have no regular trajectory as in some places it will overlap or pass a house, but the road is still well mapped. On some rare occasions, an anomalous phenomenon that exists on the streets will happen to survivors where this phenomenon will move survivors who are passing through the streets to another place that is not too far from the original place—such as being suddenly moved by a few meters. However, this phenomenon is not considered to be particularly harmful or misleading to survivors.
Although this level is known to be more "normal" than other levels, there are other unique things that can be found in the level, such as:
- Floating trees and streetlights—which have now been fenced off and survivors are asked not to approach the location.
- Lightning bolts that sometimes appear repeatedly and illuminate the level for several minutes, strangely producing no sound.
- The sound of the wind in this level is known to have a calming effect and sounds like a soft whistling, sometimes in sync with the sound of lightning heard in the distance.
- Every house is always in a state of "used" or "someone is living in it", such as: an untidy mattress as if it has been used, dirty dishes that have not been washed, clothes that have been washed and are ready to be dried, and piles of garbage that are ready to be thrown into the trash can.
The existence of objects such as Almond Water can still be found in moderate amounts—they can still be found easily but not in large quantities. There are no entities in this level so it is relatively safe to inhabit. Survivors usually visit this level just to stop by or record the sound of the wind, although some have been known to loot furniture to take to other levels.
Bases, Outpost, and Communities
Due to its relative safety and stable resources, this level is slowly being adopted as the primary residence by survivors.
