Level 29.1-ID is a mysterious level that looks like a ruined version of Level 29-ID.

Level 29.1-ID
Description:
"Cornerium"—referenced as Level 29.1-ID, has a similar appearance to Level 29-ID but in a ruined version. Cornerium has the same characteristics as Level 29-ID such as a confusing maze, a complex arrangement of stairs, and vertical passages. However, there are some things that differentiate this level from Level 29-ID, such as:
- This level has fewer rooms.
- Most of the rooms found are always empty.
- There is likely to be little furniture in the rooms.
- All walls and floors are made of white concrete.
- Hallways and rooms are well-lit with no visible light sources.
- No Red Terminal or Manstria Network System (MNS) was found.
- No objects were found.
Further into the level, changes in the environment within the level can be seen, with cracks starting to appear in the walls, ceiling, and floor. These cracks result in an unstable condition of all surfaces in the level where collapse is highly likely. Vibrations can be felt in the level which become stronger the further one goes into the level. Iron doors can be found if following the mapped path, these doors will lead survivors to the main part of the level.
A giant cavity called "Cornerium" (Level 29.1-ID) can be found behind the door. Based on the information that has been obtained, the Cornerium did not previously exist and is still part of Level 29-ID. A major event had caused part of Level 29-ID's area to disappear and caused Cornerium to form. Cornerium has a scene dominated by white fog with the shadows of "buildings" visible behind the fog. Some "building" debris can also be seen floating here.
It seems that Cornerium has a weak gravity, as Cornerium's gravitational acceleration is roughly only 20% that of Earth and most of the Backrooms level—comparable to the Moon. Strong gusts of wind can be felt and make building debris fly everywhere and make building debris crash into other buildings, which is why this level sometimes experiences violent vibrations like an earthquake. These vibrations would be very dangerous as they would cause unstable areas to collapse and create more floating debris. Even so, the gusts of wind and low gravity can be used to glide from one building to another with ease.
Cornerium was originally discovered by a survivor in an attempt to save himself from the attack of Entity 29-ID on Level 29-ID, after discovering and exploring this level he immediately made a voice recording report along with a copy. The survivor's voice recording had reached the SPB survivor group's base on Level 11-ID but was sent by an unknown entity. The entity claimed to have been given a copy of the report to hand over to any survivor it met. As of this writing, the condition of the survivor is still unknown.
Bases, Outposts, and Communities
There are no bases, outposts, and communities at this level.
Entry and Exit Access:
According to the information that has been obtained so far, Cornerium can only be accessed after venturing deep into Level 29-ID. The survivor who discovered this level has mapped out the route he took to reach this level. The only way out is through the gate located in the center of the level, this gate will send the survivor to another level randomly.
